On Monday we took Jason to Slieve League. It has become one of our favorite places. We were lucky to have another clear day.
One of the guides in one of the tour groups told me that these rocks are where Finn McCool (the giant) did his homework. The desk and his chair!
Birch and Jason decided to hike the mountain....There they go! They said they wouldn't be long as they left me sitting on a bench....3 hours later.....after talking to everyone that passed by from all parts of the world.....I was getting a little worried.......thought they fell off the cliff!
The Irish mist rolled in, I couldn't see the ridge any more......now I was sure they had fallen off
the cliff......and I was getting wet....and they had the keys to the car......
Finally, Elder Holt came back, without Jason. Jason continued on to the summit and was to meet us on the trail coming down the back of the mountain. After another hour.....waiting by these sheep.....we finally met up! Jason had come down faster than we thought and had been running all over the valley and back up the mountain looking for us......we were in the Craft shop!

So he had been hiking for 5 hours.....but was excited about the adventure. As for me, the next time they leave me on a bench it won't be for 3 hours!!!!!
After that adventure we were pretty hungry so we went back to Donegall and ate at The Harbour. It was a fun day and we sure enjoyed being with Jason.
