For prep-day this week we took the elders from Antrim and Bangor up the Antrim coast. They were pretty excited to go on a field trip! It's fun to see them as "boys".....they act so different than when they are dressed as missionaries!!! 
They all crossed the rope bridge and then we went to the giant's causeway. 
We stopped at Dunluce castle.

Last Monday we left with the McBrides to travel down south to Dingle. We were a little worried about the weather since hurricane Katia was passing the island and there were predicted gale winds....we said we were just evacuating to the south!
We first stopped in Adare. There were several quaint Irish cottages.

We stopped at a church in Adare and wandered through. As I signed the guest book it was fun to see that the visitor right before us was from St.Paul, Minnesota! 
We headed to Dingle going over Connors Pass. It was REALLY windy up on the mountain!

We had a great trip. We stayed overnight in Tralee at the Earl of Desmond Hotel and enjoyed some Irish music and great food. It was a nice little get away with our good friends the McBrides. We will miss them when they go home in a couple of weeks. One of the best parts of being on a mission is the friends we have made. Lots of good memories!!!!!
