Cliffs of Moher

Monday morning we had a wonderful Irish breakfast at the hotel and then went to this castle...I can't remember the name right now.....Only the servants quarters are left standing. It was pretty interesting.

View of the horse race track from the top of the castle.

Castles were always built by the sea or a river...

Group gathering......

I love the little Irish villages....they are so colorful!

Lots of ivy on the isle!!!!!

We made our way to Talbert were we boarded the ferry and crossed the Shannon River.....

It was a pretty short ride.....

We then went to the docks where we waited for the ship to take us to the cliffs of Moher....this was a little village shop.....

You see this sign a lot! Pubs on every corner and in between!

Headed out to the cliffs.......

Four of the young elders met us there and joined the group.....

The ocean spray was crazy and my lens on the camera got alittle wet......

LOTS AND LOTS OF BIRDS.....

You can see how high the cliffs are...that is a ship at the bottom of the rock........

Oops....same picture again......

Pretty amazing. It was fun to see it from below....we didn't have time to go on the top but we saw people walking along the edge......
