This week for Family Home Evening we had a special treat. President and Sister Lowry from Lisburn came to visit. President Lowry is a counselor in the mission presidency and has been a stake president here in Belfast. He is a wonderful man and we have really enjoyed getting to know him and his wife. We played a game Elder Holt made up...Ireland Church History trivia with an olympic theme. Here are the gold, silver and bronze winners, wearing their medals.... of chocolate!
It is fun to get together with the single adults every Monday night at our home. I think they really enjoy it and so do we!
Some of these sisters were the first members here in Portadown. They are faithful leaders in the church here in Northern Ireland.
We had twelve here that night, which is the most we have had....so far!!!! It was snug in our little home, but cozy and we had a fun evening. We told the Lowry's they could come back anytime!
